This is what we call irony

During the three-hour Biggest Loser finale I was making homemade mini-pizzas.  But in my defense, they're surprisingly healthy pizzas.  Multi-grain crust, lowfat cheese, veggies and ham for toppings.  Each is only 250 calories.  go me.  And it turns out that even though I hate seeds like sunflower on their own, I don't mind them mixed into dough.  ( Read more... )

Not wanting to seem fussy, but...where was the irony? Maybe I missed it...

I know about people swearing at you. I, sadly, have to have it done to my face a lot. And I get people who are pushy, but oh, no, I can't even so much as raise my tone to them, or, GASP, they will talk to the Commissioners about me. We've all gotten to the point where we just blow it off and say, "Oh, ok, they are on the second floor, and hey, want their extension while we're on the subject?" Usually that throws people off. Usually.

Re: pizza

Biggest Loser is all about losing weight, getting healthy, etc. Pizza does not exactly have a reputation for being a health food.

Even if it's just you, have the chef come and make the food. You can use it for lunches for days, and make your co-workers jealous of teh amazing. Or ask your next door neighbors over...

A chance to have someone else do the cooking is not to be wasted. Especially not if it's free!

Well, it had to be postponed in any event because they won't do it unless they have a guaranteed audience of at least 3.

But we are going to try it again in a couple weeks.
