Why yes, I HAVE been living under a mushroom for several months. I had noticed that LJ was asking me to agree to new terms if I wanted to log in under my "author" LJ handle but since I kept refusing to agree -
I had no idea that LJ was run on Russian servers or that the new terms are apparently ridiculous, that journals not updated at least once every 6 months can be deleted, and that there is a mass exodus to move fics from LJ to other servers (AO3 and Dreamwidth are the popular choices.)
So I guess I'll be migrating too.
