Okay, I re-read the entire work. I love this one so much, for reasons I really can't explain. Maybe I'm a sucker for Brennan having to be weak for once. The sweetness/sexiness of the ending? Pitch-perfect.

really splendid. i have to say that when i got to chapter 8 just yesterday and found it was incomplete i startled my cat by my "no way!" and you finished it! i barely had to wait so thanks so much.

i caught the koan and thought it was terrific how you brought that back. it just grounds the story even more effectively. and i love the chapter titles. i'd love to see this story from brennan's perspective or at least the time in between her illness and when she calls booth at wong foo's. (and btw, don't you miss wong foo's? and heavy d? i wish they'd go back there. there's something so charming about a restaurant that decides what you want to eat.)

anyway, thanks again. i feel like i found a real treasure when i stumbled on your lj and am adoring reading all your stories.
