For the people who matter.

I decided to pick 10 people and write something small about them, just to let them know how much I care.  These are people who matter to me, people who have made a difference in my life.  I have lost some of my major contact with some of them, but that doesn't mean that they did not have an impact on my life.  I'm not going to name them, but if you're one of the, I'm sure you can pick yourself out.

1.  You're the first person on this list and you are definitely my number 1 in real life.  You mean the world to me.  I love you more than anything.  You are my best friend and I trust you with everything.  I never thought I could fall so freaking hard and part of me didn't want to, but in a week and a half, my whole life changed.  We are silly together, we argue, we cuddle, we are just plain ridiculous, and I love every single second of it.  I fall asleep thinking of you and you're the first thought in my mind when I wake up.  I can't wait until I can be with you forever, but I guess we have already started forever, and it will be the greatest forever imaginable.

2.  You are the greatest friend I could ever ask for.  We have made some ridiculous trips to do silly things like get our noses pierced.  I love you and I love your fiance and I love you guys together.  I still have our director's notebook from drama class.  Sometimes I open it and just laugh at the ridiculous nature of it.  We don't get to talk or hang out as much now as we did in high school, but that doesn't change the way I feel about you.  Every time we get together, it's like we had just seen each other the day before and I love that.  Thanks for being awesome.

3.  We got along so well in high school.  I blame Keiffer's class for bringing us together, but I guess band would have been the first thing.  I always found it amusing that people mistook us for each other.  You always had this uncanny ability to read my emotions perfectly, no matter how much I tried to hide them.  I haven't seen you or talked to you in forever and I really wish that wasn't so.  We really need to do some underwear shopping.

4.  Mi hermana, I miss you so much.  I remember all of the crazy things we did back in middle school and early high school.  All those middle school games we had to sell tickets for and the track meets we had to measure for.  The silly crushes we had and the guys we couldn't stand but still were attracted to.  I remember all the Chamberlain soccer games we went to, eventually getting  to know that team better than Gaither's team.  I miss our crazy adventures.  I need to come visit you soon.  I love you!

5.  When I first met you, I thought you were one of the cutest guys I had ever seen.  I really started liking you as I got to know you.  You are attractive, easy to talk to, and intelligent.  What was there not to like?  But the only problem was that you tend to lead people on.  I spent too much time thinking about you and trying to get you to like me, but it was useless.  I don't know what it is about me, but I guess I'm just not for you.  I'm glad that we've gotten past that and can now just hang out and talk about almost anything.  It's nice to have such a good friend that lives so close to me.  P.S.  I love your Thunderbird.  I'll buy the ice cream next time we go to Dairy Queen.

6.  I loved you.  A lot.  For awhile, I thought you would be the one for me, but obviously I was wrong.  You broke my heart.  You changed.  I don't know whether it was college, your "job", or a combination of both, but you just became a person totally different from who I thought you were.  We had two fun years, two years full of memories, some good and some bad.  I don't regret it.  If anything, at least I learned from it.  I still care about you.  I really do.  I hope you're happy with your life.  I know I'm happy with mine.

7.  OMGoodness.  What is there to say?  You are amazing and crazy and so awesome.  My freshman year of college wouldn't have been the same without you.  I miss you being here.  You should transfer back.  I hope I can come see you on spring break and maybe take a short trip to my favorite state of Florida.  I want us to run around in our underwear together, go shopping, and sing ridiculously loud at silly songs that were cool back in middle school.  You are so beautiful.  I miss you and love you.

8.  You are my favorite music nerd ever.  I'm glad that we have kept in touch even though we're half the country apart.  Your letters always make me smile and I love sending you funny postcards.  I love every chance that I get to talk to you.  You are a wonderful, beautiful, Godly young woman.  I miss you.  You should come visit me.

9.  What is there to say about you?  When I met you, to be honest, I thought you were a dick.  You gave me the exact opposite impression of the one that your best friend gave me.  Funny thing is now, my opinions of you have completely reversed.  You have gone through so many things in your 21 years and yet you never fail to keep your chin up.  I'm proud of how you carry yourself.  You are a ridiculously strong man.  I love our long conversations.  I can't wait until you come home in July.  You will forever be my Norwegian brother.

10.  I still have the little stick figure cartoons we drew in Spanish 2 and the notebook full of our notes.  I remember spending tons of time at your house just chilling and watching movies.  Thank you so much for waiting outside of homeroom with me to stare at 'Lil Becks every morning.  He was greatness defined.  I miss all of the ridiculous, rollercoaster love life stories we talked about.
