“I can’t believe you were scared of a mouse, Harry!” Ginny laughed again as she walked back in from placing their little houseguest outside.
“It wasn’t fear,” he tried to justify the lack of color that was slowly draining back into his face. “It was concern. I mean, the last mouse I dealt with turned out to be a murderer.”
Ginny broke out into fits again. “While I appreciate your concern, Harry, Peter was a rat, not a tiny mouse.”
“I was not afraid!”
“Whatever helps you sleep at night, dear, I just hope you’re not home alone next time.”
