Nobody’s ever been on her side before; it’s a nice feeling. *is happily broken at this* It's so perfect and so right, and the mental image of that specific moment is just fantastic.

AND YOU MADE THE ENDING HAPPY. I love it, it's so perfect. She totally would shoot her arm right up in the air and probably smack down anyone who tried to beat her to it too, hehehee :D and just imagining how thrilled she would be to see him there, to have the promise he made her be fulfilled... it makes my brainspace and my heart very happy.

Awwwwww! *hugs you!* Such happy sqeeing feedback makes me so very glad that I could write you something sweet enough to suit them. Sweet and protective and just a little mysterious, because that's how they are together, green eyed and lovely in all the ways that never let you quite see everything that they are.

*snickers* Poor Jareth. Tries to flirt with Sarah, finds out that someone's beaten him to it.

And yes, Ryuuji has total faith in Sarah's ability to handle herself, he went through the Labyrinth at her side, after all! Not so much a case of needing her as of wanting to be on her side, to have her know that someone cares and is looking out for her.

Which is why she has Ryuuji on her side. She deserves him, and even if she doesn't need him, he'll still be there.

Then reappear, years later, when his father is dead. All gorgeous and new-transfer-studentish, giving Sarah his jacket to wear around campus if she's cold, sitting with her at lunch and leaning in to talk to her, laughing softly at her jokes and giving anyone who tries to lure him a charming smile and laughing refusal because he's there for Sarah, not any other girl that might be interested. So yes, lots and lots of happiness.

Love you lots too and as soon as I get my second laptop set up again, I'll start d/ling Smallville Season 5 once more so that we can get back to watching it together. XDDD That was FUN.
