It's quieter outside now and a cursory peek outside seems to suggest that the war is over. I shy from asking if everyone is alright because obviously in such a situation everyone cannot be alright. In fact, I'm not certain what proper etiquette would suggest be asked in these circumstances. I supposed I wish to know if my friends are injured or if they were lucky enough to remain unscathed.
