What I have doesn't really fall into the category of suggestion or criticism. It's really just a concern. Though I admit I don't agree with your having chosen cancer as Inara's terminal illness, I'm not passing judgment on that. The series was canceled before the truth of it could come to light, and your choosing to continue that particular sub-plot to completion is, of course, completely up to you.
However, I do feel you're being a bit inconsiderate. Watching someone you love suffer through chemotherapy, fight such a difficult battle, feeling helpless, feeling like things will never get any better, these things make a huge impression on people. They're memories that inspire emotions that will never fade. It's also a situation, as horrific and tragic as it is, that can't be avoided, but shapes the person you will be for the rest of your life. Bearing all that in mind, I think it would be very thoughtful of you to put any video of Inara having adverse reactions to chemotherapy under lj-cuts with a warning. You have no way of knowing who your RP actions are going to affect. It's very possible some of your unwitting roleplay partners have watched a loved-one suffer through the treatment.
I know most people would have gone with an STD given her profession. I thought that was over done and trite. Any disease I choose to play out with her could be said to have the same problems. However, you've got a point and of course I don't wish to make anyone uncomfortable. I'll take into consideration your suggestion.

It really isn't fair to them.
