This was so sweet-- sincerely. I love family stories, especially when the parents are extremely competent (I work with a lot of families who are "in crisis" as we like to diplomatically state it). My favourite thing about these stories is that even though Rachel/Quinn (and Noah) are obviously great parents, they're still sexy/cute as hell. I'd like to believe that even with six kids, I'm still as attractive/sexy/appealing as ever, but the truth is, I'm kind of stodgy/myopic/anal retentive and prone to uttering things like "CAROLINE, YOU CAN'T BE BATGIRL TO CHURCH? WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHY? BECAUSE...OH, FORGET IT! BE BATGIRL!" and "THOMAS, GET YOUR FOOT OUT OF YOUR BROTHER'S MOUTH, THAT'S GROSS!"

My POINT (and yes, I have one) is that somehow you tow that line between good parent/sexy spouse so well. And even though this wasn't smutty, it was still suggestive, which is even sexier, because you know, once you have kids, sex can become rote, but suggestive flirtation is still sweet/sexy and I believe necessary for a good marriage.

Oh! And my favourite: "Quinn had looked at her with an arched brow. “Why does it sound like I’m the one who fucked things up in your scenario?” Rachel had put her hands on her hips and glared at her before telling her she was stupid." Because, DUDE. YES! This so would happen

DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH MORE I'D GO TO CHURCH IF PEOPLE DRESSED UP AS SUPERHEROS/VIGILANTES?! Though I'd probably be too distracted to listen to the sermon lol I'm glad you enjoyed this! I really like writing these happy family pieces, even though I really felt with this one that it was kind of pointless since it's just a snapshot... No real plot so to speak.

ha!! Well, four of my children are very close in age. I just gave up on the battle. When people ask me "why are your kids in capes?" I'm like, "well, when the fuck else can they wear a cape in public? They're LITTLE"

Also, this doesn't really need a plot, because the plot is the fact they're a family. the best moments of family life are plotless.I'd hardly call this story "pointless" -- it was really sweet and depicted a moment in a family's life and it'd be a family I'D be proud to be a part of.
