O beautiful day...
The sun is shining, the birds are singing. This weather is most welcome. We've had an odd April. Until the past week, cold, wind, rain, and even snow have come-- but finally we have warmth and sun. O beautiful day.
The semester is winding down. It amazes me how fast these two years have gone. Yet it's been long, too. I can't wait for the freedom to return to a 'normal' life. I have so many hopes and goals, I need to slow down and breathe and trust and wait.
Last night I went to Indiana and visited a friend. She invited me to accompany her to a cocktail-type party. We had a delightful time dressing up for the evening and mingling among the party-goers. I knew only one or two there, but there was much scope for the imagination. ;-) It was a beautiful, historic party hall, too. Afterwards we went back to her house and chatted over munchies. We didn't get to bed until 1:30 or 2, so I may be feeling the lack of sleep tonight. Twas a fun memory, though.
Today I am studying for finals. The prospective one tomorrow vexes me greatly. :-P I have a good test average in the class, but I don't want to blow it on the final. I've studied and I feel fairly prepared, but it's a huge amount of material! And the instructor's questions are sometimes odd and unexpected. Grrr.
Alright, I should get back to something productive...like studying for that final.
