Ideas people who write much better than me should turn into fic
First idea -Polyamory F/G,F/jamia, Gerard/Lynz, F/J/G/L
The band is just coming off current tour (Big day out) and everyone is in LA because the new studio is being built and ideas are a-flowin. Jamia and the girls are in LA and they are staying with Gee and Lyn because Frankie CANT BE AWAY FROM HIS FAMILY AGAIN for so long.
Jay and Christa have been there a week already (her and Ray are staying with the other ways) settling in and they go to Lynzs art show to support their makeshift sister in law(canon!) Alicia is there also(not?canon) because her and Mikey live in LA too and its her actual sister in law so you HAVE TO SUPPORT YOUR FAM.
So that happens about two days before the band gets home. When they do, they have a big celebratory dinner at Gerard and Lynz's.
They eat, they laugh, they reminisce and catch up. Lynzs art show comes up and Jamia just gushes about it in this really endearing and earnest way. She is so not an ART!Person and it was her first showing and she didn't KNOW LYNZ HAD IT LIKE THAT. They have a moment, while their husbands look on glad their wives are finally getting a chance to bond.
And the thing is, this really is the first chance they have had to get to know each other-they've been friendly with each other because they are family but they aren't actually friends.
Ray,Christa, Mikey and Alicia leave and Gerard and Frank go to put their girls to sleep and its really cute because they are DADS. Gee does a bed time story complete with voices because that's how he rolls.
The next morning the boys are up early making their girls breakfast being VERY COMFORTABLE with each other and a little sickeningly domestic. Lyn walks in on Frank leaning back sleepily against Gerard as Gerard makes coffee around him, a cozy arm around his waist. She doesn't bat an eye because that's THEM but takes note unknowingly(like on a subconscious level.)
Things continue on in that way for about two weeks as a weird tension kinda builds in the house. *insert mild angst here* LynZ vents her frustrations to her new found girlfriend because she KNOWS and she understands.
"Doesn't that annoy you sometimes?" she wonders out loud. Its Frank and his knowing things about Gerard only a wife should know and knowing things about him she, as his wife, doesn't know at all.
Jamia's all reasonable and explains its because of time put in and SHARED EMO PASTS and all that and causally drops that its also because of their THING THAT THEY HAD A LONG TIME AGO.
Lyn's all what THING?.
Jamia's all FUCCCCKKK. "You didn't know?"
Lynz starts with the questions and Jamia's all ive said to much, go ask you're husband.
She confronts Gerard that night and he's all flustered but admits to it. She asks why he didn't tell her, not hurt but curious, and he says because it didn't matter, they'd both moved on and it was A LONG TIME AGO. She's even more curious know and asks about their relationship and he tells her because she wants her to know it wasn't a secret and he trusts and loves her. Finally she asks why they broke up and Gerard says "because he didn't belong to me" (OMG right!)
The next day she talks to Jamia again since Gerard's he didn't belong to me speaks volumes. Jamia explains that Gerard and Frank were together when she and Frank weren't exclusive/seriously dating. That she knew Frank was Bi when they got together and It wasn't a surprise to her when him and Frank got together because Frank's man-crush for Gerard was visible from space. She wasn't threatened by Gerard because she loved him too and knew he wouldn't try and "steal" Frank away.
She also hints through her wording that Frank still has feelings for Gerard. (She and Frank also talked about it that first night when she let it slip and besides that they have always had an open and honest relationship when it came to his feelings about Gerard)
So everyone knows that everyone knows now and its hanging in the air between them as they relax after dinner that night.(living room,dim lighting, soft music, wine-a-plenty) Lynz, who has been thinking HARD ABOUT ALL THE THINGS comes to a conclusion that, yes, she is a forward thinking women, that Jamia had it right, from the beginning. She gets to decide what kind of relationship she has. To orchestrate it, she suggests they play a came of truth or dare. They've all had a enough to drink that they are is loose with their tongue and actions.
After a few innocent rounds Lynz corners Frank with intent in her gaze. Jamia and and Gerard have both deflected during their turns but Frank knows what she doing and he wants it too.
"Truth or dare, Frankie"
"Truth babe"
"When's the last time you thought about fucking my husband,"
Frank coughs on a mouthful of beer. "Maybe I should have picked dare"
"No backsies," She smiles
"You want the "truth" or the brutal fucking honest fact of it all" He asks in all seriousness
She leans in "Brutal"
"Every fucking night of the past year I spent alone in my bunk or hotel bed." he answers but looks at Gerard
"Every night?!" Jamia asks mock incredulously
"You were there too babe," he smirks at her.
And its this that the little game was leading to so Lynz says quietly looking at Gerard "well how about it?"
Frank really doesn't need any more impetus and he's all up in Gerard lap immediately echoing "well how about it?" as he leans in to kiss him gingerly.
The kiss gets pretty intense really fast as the wives look on kinda rapt.
"Well fuck," Lynz says, when they break apart, a little breathless, as if she's the one who has just had the hell kissed out of them. Truth is she never let herself look at Gerard and Frank like that, never entertained the fact that there could be something fueling the stage gay. But now.
"I ship frerard so hard," Jamia says almost reverently then laughs at herself.
