Spring Break Booked!
Just booked my spring break. I'm going to spending a day and a half in Edinburgh before travelling to Pitlochry, a little town about an hour to the north, for 2.5 days of hiking, resting, and otherwise B&Bing. While I will be staying in a hostel in Edinburgh, the only available accomodation in Pitlochry was a B&B - at about 10 pounds more per night, I didn't think it was SO terrible. Plus it includes free breakfast, so that helps with the costs! I'm trying to keep the entire trip under 200 pounds total. Surprisingly, the most expensive part of the trip was the train rides. Even with a student rail card! @_@
Anyways, the hardest part will be convincing my parents its OK for me to do this thing by myself. I mean yes, I WILL wish Stan was there every day. But he's going to be in Oregon (!!) and Mt. Rogers, so its not like he's pining away for me too. Anyone else wanna come? We can split the cost of the B&B! >_>
So yeah. There's that.
