Last time on Survivor
On February 9th, 2009
eighteen castaways were abandoned in the harsh deserts of Egypt
and forced to pair up immediately,
before being torn apart into two tribes:
Anubis and Ra
and after a near perfect score by the other tribe,
Anubis was forced to send Ashley packing,
but it was a week full of surprises, and a double vote sent Heather packing
and kept Bryan safe for another week.
In Week 2,
Anubis came back fighting as their pyramids towered over the Ra tribe's, forcing them to vote out Caryn
The Anubis tribe continued to dominate,
breaking the tie in their favour in Week 3 and sending Dean packing from the Ra tribe.
In Week 4,
Ra finally pulled of a victory by finding more communities with more members, which gave the Anubis tribe the chance to send Ryan home for good.
Week 5 saw the Survivors competing in their hardest challenge yet,
the infamous paddle battle,
which broke Ra's stride,
causing them to send Noelle home.
With 1/3rd of the castaways gone,
The next challenge was all about identifying hieroglyphics.
After a close race, Anubis's interpretation mistakes cost them another crucial member, Kellen.
In the final week before the merge,
another brutal comment race through a maze sent Rachel packing from the Anubis tribe.
With five members from each tribe left,
the two tribes merged to become Deskrit
and, in the first of two tribal councils that week,
Alyssa's hopes of being on the jury or in the final two were quashed.
After a twelve-round shoot out won by Nick D.,
Week 9 saw Austin pack his bags and become the first member of the jury.
A second win for movie buff, Nick D.,
led the remaining eight survivors to add Mark's name to the jury roster.
But Nick D.'s winning streak was broken by Ashleigh,
who submitted a website to wow the judges in the travel challenge and with immunity in hand,
she and the others would end up sending the other Nick, Nick P. to the other side of the fire.
But Ashleigh's time on top of the pyramid didn't last long,
and when Josh took over as winner in the chamber challenge,
a three-way tie vote was eventually broken and sent Ashleigh to join the others on the jury.
Josh became the swing vote one week later and after Victoria's word spread like wildfire,
a 3-2 shock vote put Bryan in the position to decide the winner, rather than be the winner.
The top four would then battle it out in a second paddle battle up the Nile River which would lead to a second immunity on Victoria's part and leave Nick D. up the river without a paddle.
Last week,
a cryptic race to the finish gave Victoria her third immunity and her chance to decide who would be in the two two with her.
As you all know, Josh took the final seat on the jury.
And Rob came along with her to the top two.
And now,
after hearing their opening and closing statements,
and their video responses to your questions,
the seven of you must now decide who is must deserving
