[Background] Ada is the younger sister of Oz Bezarius, heir of the noble Bezarius family. She's just a very young girl in the beginning of the manga, around the age of 8. It's made clear that she's very attached to her brother and enjoys tagging along with him and Gil around their home. Her childhood most likely consisted of a rather cushy life, constantly following her brother around and essentially playing the part of a young girl of noble blood.
But there is a disruption in her life on her brother's 15th birthday, the day of his coming-of-age ceremony. After hiding from the maids, Oz takes her and Gilbert to explore their new surroundings, as they went to temporarily live elsewhere for the ceremony. They explore and wander, Ada just continues to comment on how pretty everything is. At one point, Oz and Gil manage to fall through the ground and into a hole. Ada is left above ground, worried about her dear older brother and their mutual friend. She is unaware that they had stumbled upon a grave and Oz manages to snatch a pocket watch as a souvenir.
The day proceeds as usual, more mischief and Oz continues to torment Gil, and the younger Bezarius sibling just continues to follow along innocently. As the day turns to the night of the ceremony, Ada isn't allowed to tag along or participate since she isn't 15 either. Just before Oz enters for the ceremony, she wishes him the best before scurrying to the main building. She's left otherwise clueless as her brother is sucked into the Abyss.
It is rather unsure what Ada had been doing for the ten years of Oz's absence. It can probably be guessed that she was quite upset once she found that her brother was missing, but otherwise managed to move on with her life. Despite Gil leaving the Bezarius family, she apparently managed to keep in touch and even gave him the hat that he's often seen wearing. At some point in time, she entered the Latowidge School, even becoming a prefect there.
The first we hear of her in the future is that she's been keeping in good touch with her Uncle Oscar, often exchanging letters with him. She writes to him very happy news, and proclaims that she's fallen in love with someone. As joyful as this news is to her, her uncle is far from pleased. He quickly abducts Oz, Gilbert, and Alice, dressing them in the appropriate attire, and drags them to Latowidge School to clarify this mess with Ada. This is not only because Oscar is apparently a very protective relative, but also to lighten the spirits of everyone else.
So the infiltration of the school takes place, and it was going smoothly until Oscar managed to cause a bit of a mess. Everyone took off as things were disrupted and they were labeled as "suspicious persons", getting separated as they did so. Eventually Ada makes her appearance as her kitty, Snowball, attacks Gil because he has the smell of smoke on him. Apparently her cat can track down smokers by their smell, and Ada proceeds to tell them that smoking is not permitted in the school. Surprised to find her uncle and friend there, she's caught off guard even further as Oscar tells her that Oz is in the school too.
Despite being happy of the news, as that's what would be expected, she is instead hesitant about reuniting with her brother. As all the years have passed, she's afraid that he might not recognize her, panicking at the idea that he might not believe that she's truly Ada. Her worries are calmed by Gil's words, and she goes with them to find where Oz and Alice ran off to. Once she sees her dear older brother, she's surprised at how little he's changed. But nonetheless, she admits that she doesn't mind, as long as her brother is around at all, saying that she'd always wanted to meet him again. Their touching reunion is then promptly broken up by a very possessive Alice.
They all settle down to talk and Ada isn't particularly upset that it was Uncle Oscar and the others who caused the chaos around the school from their intrusion. She's just happy to see everyone again, mentioning how apparently she hadn't managed to speak with Gil for a while. It is then that it turns out that Ada was the one who gave him his hat, which begins to turn some gears in the minds of Oz and Uncle Oscar. When Oscar asks Ada directly about the letter, about how she claimed to have fallen in love with someone, she glances in Gil's direction and blushes. Oz and Oscar are notably upset by this, and decide to kill Gil.
A chase of epic proportions occurs then, Oscar and Oz chasing Gil, with Alice and Ada tailing in the back. Ada claims that it's a misunderstanding as she runs after them, and manages to catch up with Oz when he stops to catch his breath. She tries to clear up the misunderstanding but he shushes her, hearing a familiar melody. He takes off in a dash, leaving Ada to catch up to him. Once she finds him in the piano room, she's confused about what he was in such a rush about. When he admits that he wanted to ask the person who was playing the piano something, she makes the assumption that he meant two of her classmates, Eliot and Reo. After pointing out where they could be found, Oz leaves her yet again.
Sooner or later, she decides to follow her brother and manages to find him in the library, talking with Eliot and Reo. Her presence isn’t welcomed too warmly as Eliot knocks over a chair to stop her approach. He chews her out for speaking to him so casually, as well as commenting on how Oz is an intruder. Apparently their uncle had done similar things in the past, and Eliot clearly expresses his dislike for how they do whatever they please. Oz takes off with Eliot's bag, with Ada following in suit. She tries to act as a mediator, assuring Oz that there is no reason to hate Eliot, for she believes that Eliot is a good person, despite how he treats her.
She offers to take the bag back to Eliot, but Oz insists that he'll do it on his own. Commenting on how large the school is, Oz offers his younger sister his hand out of instinct, before realizing that she isn't the same little girl as before. Nonetheless, she's happy to take his hand as they begin their trek through the school She reminds him of how he wanted to ask Eliot and Reo about the melody, which he had forgotten in all the chaos. Their touching sibling moment is again broken up as Ada is knocked unconscious.
[Personality] Ada is perhaps the most benign person in existence of the canon. She practically has nothing bad to say about anyone, and is generally a kind person. There's not much to say about her personality besides that. Even if someone were to speak badly of her, she doesn't seem to hold it against them and considers their overall personality, as opposed to the part of them that just doesn't like her.
Due to her upbringing, she's developed into a rather polite girl, although her manners are sometimes lost on her. If she knows someone well enough, she'll speak to them rather casually, sometimes even if they don't want her to. She's still a generally kind person and as a rather good grasp on social etiquette. Although there may be some times that she doesn't realize that someone is being mean, considering how she was so used to seeing her brother treat Gilbert in not the kindest way when they were younger.
Not much else is prominent about Ada's personality, as it seems that she's a typical happy-go-lucky young woman raised from nobility (and apparently not much more).
[Specialties/Abilities] Ada… is honestly not capable of much. Unlike all the other people in her canon who are able to summon chains and whatnot, she's just your local Latowidge School prefect. There's not much known about what exactly she was taught when she was younger, so she probably can't use any type of weapon. But what she is capable of is recruiting cats and training them to find smokers! Though really, that's not much.
[Affection] Wellll, she's pretty much game for anything innocent enough. A hug is welcomed and would most likely be returned, but that'd depend on who it is. But well, anything else would probably result in an angry older brother? She's not entirely too clingy, but doesn't mind physical contact all tht much.
[Fighting] They're welcome to fight her, although they really wouldn't get much of a retaliation. Aaaand any injury is actually okay with me, just give me a heads-up before? As for killing, I'd rather not have that happen. D: But weeellll, ask first and maybe under certain circumstances, it could happen? I'd really rather it didn't, though.
[Other Facts]
• Like most other people in canon, she absolutely adores Oz. It's not a brother complex, exactly…. just the fact that she really missed him when he was missing for 10 years. But that's not much of a big deal. I mean, she won't attack you for saying bad things about him like some people.
• It seems like she really has a thing for cats. Even in her childhood, she had a cat around named Dinah. And she's seen with cats even when she's older, and they even help her out with her prefect work.
