OHM Fashion Show Update
So, it seems I have to be approved first.
I just sent them my designs and works...and I shall await confirmation as to whether or not I am approved then I can move forward. Kind of hectic, with my heart racing at the thought. But, I have support already. My two gay friends have been supportive - one offered to drive me to London and another offered to come to take pictures with his $1300 professional photography equipment (and film it, put it up on our Arthouse website, and even blog about it). Then, Aya offered to pay for half of the accommodations if she was able to tag along. Very exciting.
I honestly, will not take it too badly if I don't get approved.
It will just mean I will have to move onwards to something else.
Today, I went shopping with Anty (photographer gbff) and we talked and talked and talked. Crazy. He's totally fun to shop with - but aren't they all? I can't wait until Arthouse is finally done - we have some very exciting ideas as a non-profit art organization. He just had an interview at a very very high-end kitchenware retailer today and it was a bit of a celebration. Hopefully, he gets in. He will be working in the area A. and I had wanted to move to! So many good things have happened. Also, my cool X-mas gifts for my brother and bf have finally been shipped. I bought a white bag and a Cutie (Japanese) magazine - included a Cecil McBee make-up pouch and hair-puff - today.
Yeeeeah. HAPPY.
