(no subject)
Lately, I've been having this ridiculous (to some) obssession with raw cauliflower.
Its almost like I am somehow pregnant (god forbid!) and that is all I want to eat...dipped in either nice thick ranch sauce or bacon tomato sauce. Typing this is making me hungry...and since my mom only has me to please and feed. As both of my siblings have 'booked' it essentially due to some fraternal issues with the dad-o. She made me the most wonderful dinner yesterday:
I know it looks like a vegetarian's heaven...but this is what I would like to eat 80% of the time. Most of my diet consists of vegetables anyways and like 10% meat. Its how I keep my thin figure suave as it is. I also had some nice Chinese dumplings. Apparently 'raw foods' is a big thing that coincides with the environmental movement. I only know of one part-time follower of this usual food movement...but I do believe that somehow eating raw food for a week can be somehow invigorating.
Also, I would like to do a shout-out to my friend, Aya. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AYA!!! HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY!
xx_aya , has fast become one of my closer Lolita friends. Probably because of her bubbly persona, complete cuteness, and openness/acceptance of all things weird. Either way, she's an awesome person and I really hope she has a great birthday. :)
Okay, on to the necessary Lolita updates:
I've had a strange urge to sew and design again. I am hoping to get most of my designs done for the coming statutory holiday so I can get some sewing done! Here are the fabrics I will be working with:
I am still waiting on my Parisbebe fabrics to arrive:
A. has been checking his mailbox weekly for my fabric and it should be here by now...It apparently takes 4-6 days from the US because it was shipped Priority: but it was shipped March 6th...and right now its March 17th...hmm. That''s 11 days in total. Gotta get A. to phone the post office if it doesn't come in by tomorrow.
I also bought one ofkirakirajenjen 's poofy petticoats because my current ones are in a state of decomposition.
I also am keen on selling next year at AN 2010. So, I bought haircombs and plastic headbands for hair accesories. Waiting on the headbands and the haircombs were bought yesterday. I plan on only making One-Of-A-Kind skirts and dresses. I don't have enough intergrity or patience to fiddle around with more than one design at a time. I'll most likely be doing sets also. :)
Maybe one day I will learn screen-printing also. :)
