More on same topic...
So the Rabbi of our Shul made a speech today, something about politics. He kept saying "Mr. Bush" and at some point, explained that this is because we cannot say "President Bush" as that would be giving kavod to a goy.
According to my husband, he routinely makes comments about how the goyim are like animals and have no free will, especially when it comes to political events, which are all controlled by Hashem. Yeah, it makes no sense to me also because how can you give someone 7 mitzvos or even one, if they have no free will. But that's chabad shluchim for ya- l'maaleh m'tam vadaas.
So my conclusion is that 99% of Lubavitchers make it look bad for the other one percent. And also that I need to move.
These people just sit there in shul and listen to this crap and no one objects. Most of them are BTs too brainwashed to know better. And those that do know better don't want to start an argument or disagree with the rav of the shul, yaddah, yaddah.
