I never really believed the whole Leib Tropper scandal. How could a Monsey Rosh Yeshiva be running a prostitution ring? That just sounds outrageous. Some people are biased against frum people and stories can be exaggerated, even made up.
But after hearing the audio tapes, this one and this one, I'm less sure. It could still be false, right? Even though he suddenly resigned when these came out and even though these tapes sound very real, it could all be faked, right?
