Jin's birthday fic

A/N: Early fic for Jin's birthday because I will be away the 4th. Jin coming back early totally killed my plot for this, but since it doesn't seem he'll go back anytime soon, you get this thing written in ten minutes while watching Glee. Jin coming back to Japan is kind of a rushed decision. No one had really expected him to be free so soon, and with his phone disconnected after so much calling - his friends always knew it was a bad idea because seriously, Jin could spend hours on end talking on the phone - he couldn't warn anyone. He does send them e-mails, but it is not like they have time to check their e-mails that often and Jin, being Jin, sends them in the last moment possible.
It is Ryo who sees the magazine informing of Jin's return when he is in the station, going from Osaka to Tokyo, and hell breaks loose. He calls Pi, but the workaholic is filming and Kamenashi is no better, so he has no other option but to call Ueda, who does not give a damn but promises to tell his band mates while Ryo tells everyone he can reach.
Being busy idols, they had started organizing Jin's surprise birthday party the moment he left. Pi tried to coax his friend's mother to give him the keys to Jin's apartment with lame excuses only to have her find out at the end and join in the preparations with the rest of the family. Someone is sent to order a special customized cake, a small team is in charge of making a guest list and informing those on it, and another one to decorate Jin's house, though Kamenashi is promptly kicked out of both teams and confined to the room when his perfectionist side gets on everyone's nerves. With all of them working, preparations are over almost two weeks before Jin's birthday, so they leave the house and lock the door until the due date.
With Jin's arrival things went crazy. Ryo called Ueda who told Kame and the others, who promptly went to the other's groups dressing rooms to share the news and before long they were all calling who ever they could think of, only to find they had already been told a few moments before or could not answer because they were busy with the phone precisely for that, so after half an hour nobody is really sure about who knows and who does not but no one has been able to decide on what to do.
Pi is the first one to arrive after having seen the ten missed calls he has from Jin, and the door is opened by his very sleepy and jet lagged friend. He offers a bright smile to Jin's raised eyebrow, but a moment later they are hugging tightly, though Jin does not take a moment to demand an explanation for all the decorations, streamers and glittery gay shit in his living room. Pi sighs, scratches the back of his head and mentally sighs in relieve as it seems Jin has not noticed the cake in his fridge yet.
Jin is still in his pajamas when the rest start arriving, some carrying beers and alcohol bottles as impromptu presents, and soon the house is filled with friends and band mates and Jin's mother smiling widely in between them all tall men, clad in an apron and offering soon to be made cookies without apparently considering herself out of place at all. There is music and dancing and booze and people patting Jin on the back and congratulating him on his success.
After a while Jin's mother comes out of the kitchen with a big white cake with the Come back soon, Jin conveniently blurred and modified with chocolate chips to read Welcome back, Jin instead, and everyone decides to pay attention to the big happy 26th birthday sheet hanging from the ceiling rather than the date, so in a moment they are all singing happy birthday high and off tune, and there is more patting and hugging and general drunken public displays of affection and nobody seems to mind that there are still three days left for Jin's birthday nor the rushed, impromptu party much because after all, it is better than gathering to sing happy birthday through a web cam.
