As I look below at my posts and see one of the first screenshots for FFIII's rerelease, I realize how long it had been since I posted. So, I figured it would be a good time to write something.
Things have been...interesting, to say the least, during this semester. I still work at hallmark, which is going alright. I have to work tomorrow and wish I wasn't (way too much to do, school-wise). The 5-man, now 4-man, townhouse has so far been a better experience than the dorms. Being able to live in a house and being responsible making your own meals is quite nice. However, trying to keep and clean can be a hassle. I can't wait to have a place of my own.
Concerning school, I like most of my classes, I just wish I had no work for them. Next semester, I'll be taking a fair number of the core requirement needed to graduate. I really see no point in taking the amount they require. Maybe if they just cut down what is needed to 1 class per section, things would go a lot smoother, and we would still be "well-rounded" as they say.
I cannot forget to talk about the new Smash Bros. game; the game, which could possibly be, the greatest video game of all time. For the past few months, the creator of Smash Bros. has been updating a blog of his every weekday with a new piece of information. Myself, and most of the townhouse stay up till 2-am to get indulge in each piece of new information. It used to be 3-am (I thank and curse you Daylight Savings TIme) Needless to say, I have been losing out on sleep. Luckily, I have tuesday and friday completely free, so I can sleep as late I as I want :D. Anyhoo, since Tom, one of my housemates, and I have beaten Mother 3, we couldn't have been more excited about the inclusion of Lucas, the main character from said-game, into Smash Bros. Brawl. While he will probably train with Lucas, I am gonna play as Ike from Fire Emblem. Marty, my other housemate, is going to play as Pit from Kid Icarus, and I can only assume that my last housemate and roommate, Ronny, will play as Samus again. He is practically one with her.
Video games and school aside, I have definitely been feeling happier lately and more confident in myself. I have been drawing a lot more and been able to partially resolve some issues. While there are some problems that still remain, there has been much clarity, and I know that will help keep me going. I would like to talk about them more, but I think I'll save that for another post...or not. Not sure yet.
Oh yeah, one last thing. I think Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagaan has got to be one of the best animes...........ever. PIERCE THE HEAVENS WITH YOUR DRILL!!!!
