Father's Day

Sunday morning the family came into my room and brought me some presents. Joel picked out a construction car set for us to share, a gooey ball thingummy you throw at the wall and it slowly crawls down the wall, also for us to share. Katy got me this neat water bottle with Haida killerwhale designs on it. It's got a nice metal bottom and cap that screws on securely with a canvass lanyard type deal to keep the cap from going missing. And she got me a Harley! A toy, but it's a Harley! Joel wanted to open it and play with it but for now It's in the package on the top of my computer desk out of reach. Kristin got me this nice metal coffee cup that has a spill-proof lid. It's a really nice one that really is spill/leak-proof. Awesome.

Just like last year, I wanted to take the family to the Gold Creek Salmon Bake for Father's Day dinner.

It's spendy as heck but all you can eat, live music by local folk musicians, and you can roast marshmallows. There's a short walk to a waterfall and some old mining equipment to look at and they have a little table set up so you can pan for gold.

I had 4 pieces of fish and lots of salad and a little bit of baked beans and two Alaskan Ambers. Ahhhh.. good stuff.

We walked around a bit and took some photos:
