(no subject)
Well bummer. I was hoping they'd call a snow day today since we got a foot of the stuff last night. Had to shovel my tsimshian ass off to get the car out of the driveway this morning. Luckily a kind dude in a pickup truck with a snow plow took pity as he was driving by and helped me get most of the berm (birm? burm?) away.
Katy had a blast playing out in it last night though. And we made snow ice cream. It was so cool watching how excited she was about it. We made a huge bowl of it and there's a ton left in the freezer.
I've been futzing with video files and stuff trying to convert them to be able to go onto my new ipod but the damn thing is very picky about the files so hopefully soon I'll have success and be able to make use of that function. Or not, it's no big deal. I mainly want it for music and it's cool to have pictures on it too. I've been trying to find free software that will do the conversion. I found a cool one called Handbrake that works on my Mac. So far I've only been able to get it to work on DVDs though. I'd like to convert existing .avi or .mpg files.
Man, I have a lot of energy lately and I need a positive outlet for it.
