Supernatural: An Overview (a WIP)
After my Dead Like Me overview (and I use that term loosely), I decided to create little fandom entries (not really overviews in the conventional sense) where I could store links to my favourite fics since I find it difficult in this fandom and in Numb3rs to find quality general fics. I have brothers and I can't really get behind the brother pairing that seems to dominate the fandom. So, this will be an incest-free set of links.
If you haven't watched Supernatural what do you need to know exactly? It's about two brothers, both hot in entirely different ways, who are going on an endless road trip acrross the US in a. They have baggage - a dead mother (she died when they were 4 yrs and 6 months respectively in a blaze) and a dead girlfriend (although only one brother has the dead girlfriend) and they're trying to find their father and chase the demon that killed their mother/girlfriend, that their father is also chasing.
Basically it's two hot guys shooting guns and kicking demon ass while arguing with each other about pretty much everything.
OTP: None. If anything I'm anti-pairing (except for John/Mary). I don't want Sam or Dean to meet some young hunter/psychic/victim - choose your cliche - and lose their senses. That's what I like about Supernatural so far. They aren't shoving the next hot starlette at us.
Fav. character: Dean . . . Sam . . . Dean. I like them both pretty equally, but in the end I've got to go with Dean. JA was Eric on Days of our Lives and he holds a little place in my heart because of that. Maybe if Sam had come before JP was Dean on Gilmore Girls and cheating on his wife of seven months (or however long he lasted) he might have one, but alas, he falls behind now.
