well, the library decided they want kathy to continue my storytime when i go back to work, not me. this makes me pretty sad. i love doing storytime, and it was the storytime that I started. I came up with the idea and worked with Suzie to create an infant/toddler storytime back when I was volunteering and was thrilled to be put in charge of it when I was hired on. So, this saddens me that I'm off the project. On the other hand though, it makes it easier to figure out what to do with Simon, I don't have to try to hire babysitters or find a good childcare that will watch him one day a week or anything like that. I mean, I know enough about what quality childcare should be (liscensed AND accredited at least) so I imagine it would be expensive and not many places will watch him for just one day. It also makes me wonder if they are planning on letting me go? They are nice enough there to wait to make sure Josh's job works out and to make sure we'd have some sort of option for insurance, but...I don't know. I think I'll work on the webpage today to make sure they know I am still committed to my job.
