Still Unemployed
So that interview las week went good, and it would pay good and I am hopeful, but the interviewing process freaks me out. There is just so much riding on what you wear and say and how you stand and stuff. The place I interviewed a on monday may call me back for a 3 hour working interview if they like what they saw on monday/ nobody really really awesome turns up for the job.
So I am still applying for jobs and today I sent in an application for the day care where a friend of mine works. I subbed there once for a few hours and it was ok. So they posted a job ad today and I sent in my resume. About an hour later they called me in to sub for a week as a working interview type thing. Apparently they want all their prospective employees to work for them a bit before they interview, which seems weird. So I have some work for the next few days, which is better than sitting around on tumblr and facebook waiting for things to happen.
Additionally, I went paintballing for the first time on Saturday. I have some nice welts on my arm and that pudgy bit that is above my hip and bruises really easy. I went with my church youth group which meant a lot of teenage boys, maybe 20 and 4 girls. I stepped in a gross swampy puddle. I would do it again, now that I know exactly how much paintballs hurt.
