Kelantan?
Lots of good food, lots of cows, very hot weather, sugar laden kuih(still very good), LAKSAM LAKSAM LAKSAM!!!...DS wielding travelling companion, there's an anecdote about cows (yes, more of those) and personal butlers.
And something very endearing about Chinese Kelantanese who switch effortlessly between Hokkien and Kelantanese Malay, a kind of warm friendliness in a rustic setting, and at the danger of sounding trite and cliche.. it's all very, very Malaysian.

Sorry for the somewhat cryptic entry, I just find it hard to verbalize myself properly these days. And it's past minight!
