We're just a few short days from heading home! I finished my BtVS Santa fic. Yay, me! And beaucoups of thank-yous to my dear friend, authoressnebula , who was first to read the Spuffy Christmas fic as my beta... I, however, changed the end on her. Just slightly.
Just about done with packing and we'll be on our way Wednesday night! Chris packed up the computer at home this morning (poop!), so my last entry for a bit will be on Wednesday from work. I start my new job Monday at 10AM.
I talked to Dad and Linda yesterday. We're going to Hernando to see them on Friday. I can't wait to meet her! I'm excited. Dawn, my best friend, is going to drive out to meet up with us there. She's too pregnant to drive to Kissimmee from Ocala. Too far. She's due in just a few more weeks and has decided to name the baby Lindsay Marie. Awwwww! She'll get to meet Linda, too. Dawn's been family since we were in the 9th grade. She'll likely be at Dad and Linda's wedding in January if she's not knee-deep in diapers. I don't think she'll have a problem finding a sitter, though. Or she can just bring Lindsay.
So... yeah. The countdown is on. Just a two more nights in Indiana. Give me a week to settle in after we get to FL and I should be back! Don't forget me! And if it is longer than a week, Happy Holidays to all!
