so i spent most of the afternoon working on my
robocode tank. A few more hours and it should be ready for the third
ISURC tournament this thrusday.
So I was in the Nuke lab all afternoon until John, Katie P, and I drove out to a birthday party in the middle of Nowhere, Iowa. It was in an enclosed picnic shelter that had a fire pit. And there was a psuedo-dj and lots of food. Fun times fun times.
After the party John and I rented "
Red Shadow". I'd been eyeing it at the video rental for weeks cause i love ninjas and it's from the director of "
Samurai Fiction" (which was a really sweet movie). Anyway, we watched Red Shadow and it was fucking sweet. I recommend it to anyone, but Kristen in particular. :D Dear lord, there were constant ninja battles with softly raging guitar in the background!
We also picked up "
Hawk: the Slayer" for tomorrow night. lol. it'll be so bad it's good.
Oh, and since
HIM is always worth mentioning, I picked up the non-import version of
Love Metal yesteryday afternoon for only $10. the only bad thing is that it lacks one of the songs that's on the European release. *sighs*
