I was just talking to my aunt about my grandma. My grandma passed away a few years ago and it was a big deal to me. My mother took care of her all my life ever since my grandfather passed away because my grandmother was mentally ill. She was sort of a burden on the family, but she was still family and we all loved her.
But I was just thinking about how it was my grandmother who not only introduced me to musical theater but got me to love it. We would always sit and watch those old movies. My aunt took me to my first play and it was my aunts and my other grandmother who took me to see shows all the time because my whole family has always LIKED theater, but I think it really was my grandmother who made me love musical theater. I wonder if I would have gotten into it anyway. It's funny how life goes together.
