On Long Commutes

On Saturday, when I went to M's friend's house for dinner, we talked about riding the train home from work. One person said that he noticed that very few passengers do what the Japanese do--read a book or listen to music. I don't really agree. Our trains aren't jampacked into scaring our bodies into sleeping for a bit of personal privacy, either. Maybe that has something to do with it?
Also, I love her hat. I can think of a couple classes where that would be the best invention ever.

That hat should be introduced in Korea, unlike in Japan they seem perfectly able to sleep past their bus stop...
