haven't updated in a couple of days...
hehe, i like my new icon! anyway...
the party was ok, it's alot of work hosting parties. I'de rather go to someone else's. haha. but i guess that's just me being selfish. I'm glad I had one, though. it was a good experience, my mom said.
Wow, everyone brought me presents! It was so weird. I got $75 worth of books-a-million giftcard! heh heh heh! I love books... everything about them. Especially manga.
In manga, usually it starts with someone who has an especially hard life, or an especially depressed person, and suddenly something happens to make their lives better, and that's what makes the story interesting- watching the transformation from having a horrible life into having a great one. But this makes me wonder... does this sort of stuff only happen in manga? And... what about BEFORE all these wonderful things start to happen? The manga doesn't cover that.
because it's not interesting.
I don't feel that way or anything, it's just something I was thinking about. Because sometimes you think- oh wow, these characters are just like me, except "such and such" hasn't happened to me. "haha". But underneath the laugh is maybe a cold, lonely, jealous feeling. a jealous feeling over these non-existent people. and that might suck worst of all.
