[You hear that Tohru? That's the sound of Kyou's Dreamberry clattering onto the ground after watching that.

[Squeak! Oh no, of course he saw that. Tohru sits up, debating whether she should see if Kyou was all right. She settled for yelling, unintentionally for the whole dojo to hear.]

K-Kyou-kun?? A-are you all right?! I-I'm so sorry! I'm really, really sorry!!

[Thank the heavens there wasn't any students coming in until much later in the day. Otherwise they'd both have so much more explaining to do.

Kyou doesn't even dwell on what the best course of action is at this point. He just stomps his way towards Tohru's room, still very red in the face. Telling whether it was in embarrassment or anger was hard to tell but he doesn't even give her time to decipher it.]

--What the hell was that!?

[So he asks even if he knew full well exactly what it was.]

[Tohru unconsciously backs up when Kyou yelled but before she could even explain herself, the back of her head bumps unceremoniously on the headboard of her bead. The girl whimpers, her hands quickly going to bump, wincing when her fingers brushed the sore spot.]

[Oh crap, he hadn't meant for that to happen. He immediately advances towards her, his hand taking the one at her side.]

Are you okay?

[There was a pause before Tohru links her fingers with Kyou's, squeezing his hand with one hand while holding on to the back of her head with the other.]

U-uh, y-yes! I'm all right.

[She looks down to the bed, not able to look him in the eyes.]

I'm... really sorry, Kyou-kun.

[And just like that, his face immediately heat up, glowing a red that rivaled the color of his hair. He averts his gaze from her own, finding great interest in bedside table.]

It's not like you could've- I mean, it's just this stupid place- [A click of his tongue.] You know what I mean.

[Tohru nods, merely squeezing his hand again.]
