The Worst and the Best
So, bad news first.
Over break I went into lenscrafters to get new glasses, and since it takes awhile for glasses to be made I had to wait. They were supposed to call me when they were done, but of coarse they don't. I go in to pick op my glasses on the day the chris's and I were leaving for school, but they are closed on thusdays for god knows what reason, so I have to have my glasses shiped here. now here is were the bad news is, I'm waiting for my package to arrive and my perents call telling me there was a mix up with the zip code, not a problem I just need to call and give them the right zip. So I call DHL and they tell me the zip code was fixed, and not only that but the package was deliverd a WEEK EARLYER! They check the truck and talk to the driver and everything a make sure they dont that the packege, so that means It was STOLEN off my porch. Needless to say I am furious about this. And right now I dont know what lendscrafters is going to do, if they are going to help or just say buy new ones. Ugg, so angry.
But there is light at the end of the tunnel.
I signed up to be on staff at the Game Developers Conference, the biggest game con around. Initially I am turned down and put on a waiting list to see if a spot opens up, and this morning I wake up to a email saying a spot opened and I was selected. and to top it off, my parents agreed to pay for my travel to it. This makes me very happy, so I'm not sad about my glasses, though I'm still angry.
