We've moved on, yes. I'm sorry that we couldn't end a friendship on a more amicable note. I'm sorry that I was generally crap about trying to talk to you. I'm sorry that I hurt you so badly.
I am, however, extremely glad that you have found happiness. I'm glad that you have found someone who is probably better for you and better to you than I could ever be. I'm glad that you seem to (by all accounts) be amazingly happy. This is what I wanted to give you and couldn't.
I understand this is how things have to be. A clean break, the cut out, no more reading of journals, no more talking online.
I just want some closure. I'm not really sure that I can deal with the sudden break. And I am selfish like that. You have a life, and it doesn't include me anymore. This is exactly what I did to you,and I acknowledge that.
