Brecht is going AMAZINGLY well. We've done 2 shows out of five, and we've already had the two types of audience we can have: the first, very distant and reluctant, and the second, very active and willing.
Both shows went very, very well, with a good strong load of success to top it off. Both evenings we had one person standing up to clap, both evenings we came back thrice to bow, both evenings we were saluted with "bravos" and whistles. And yesterday, one person in the audience was actively crying at the end when she stood up to clap - and it wasn't someone's mother.
And the best part? MY FRIENDS.
Ex-roomie just might make an appearance, and it would make me glad, because I haven't seen her in a long time and she's never been to see one of our shows.
Johan, Tomek (my ex), and three to four other friends will pop up to see us, which makes me squeal, because one of them had only seen our very first show as students, which has SUCKED, and kept a very bad memory of our stuff, and it makes me glad that he'll be there to see what we can do now, when we're an actual troop and we don't have to answer to a sucky director;.
And my family, too, my grandparents came on Tuesday, my parents and my godmother and her husband will be there on Friday.
And finally, Silvia, who's going to fly all the way from Berlin just for that. It makes me both incredibly happy and unbelievably nervous - why? Because she's my friend who's flying here for it and we'll go all around Lyon taking pictures and being geeky. And also, because we're doing Fear and Misery of the 3rd Reich, we speak German at times, and Silvia IS German XD So she'll be answering us in germand and we'll be like ".... whut?" hahahahahaaa.
This is going to be great great greeeeeaaaat!
