I've been informed that there was a skirmish on the grounds last night.
At first my assumption was that a malignant Digimon or Tamer tried to break into the base, but then I was told that it was a pair of DATS agents apparently having a fight.
Anyone care to explain themselves and this incident?

If you want an explanation and blame to be placed, I'll take full responsibility.

I am, however, willing to listen to your side of the story, if you are the one of the parties involved.

To get to the point, Yoshino was trying to leave the grounds in reaction to the appearance of Daimon Sayu. Unit 2 Captain Ivan had gone to retrieve the girl, and I didn't think it wise to let her run off on her own with her then-fragile state of mind.
...and on a more personal level, sir, I felt she needed to be with those that cared about her rather than do what appeared to be running away.
So I stopped her by the only means that she would listen to, as neither talking normally or trying to pull rank were effective.

You know that I don't condone that sort of behavior, but...I know how emotional Yoshino can get sometimes. I am also aware of your military experience in your own world.
I will take the time to discuss this with Yoshino later.

As I said, I'll take responsibility, but I won't apologize. Yoshino had the chance to back down.
...
However, might I suggest... Not to undermine your own authority, but Yoshino has already had one superior officer come down on her for this, now.
If you come to her, don't do it as her Commander.

I had no intention to reprimand her for this, especially not as you have.
...If anything, and this is between us, it would be more as a father figure.

But, good. For what it's worth - as fair warning - what I did was... mild and far from what I could have, and have done with subordinates in the past. I believe it's fair for you to know that, moving forward.
...
But, I'm glad to hear that. And I'll keep it just as you request, Commander.
