Woodward Dream Cruise 2005

My last 4 entries have been "....... ..... ... 2005". ^_^ I'm liking the end of my summer a whole lot.

WOODWARD DREAM CRUISE - the biggest cruise of classic cars in America. A good 1.1 million car enthusiasts and normal people who don't know the negative battery wire from the positive (me) gather for a good look at the art that people crank out in their beloved vehicles. And oh man, was it beautiful.

Went with Tom, and met up with his Dad, who owns a '55 Chevy Bel-Air, which is oh so tantilizing. Apparently they have a bunch of friends who they hang out with every year at that thing, all who have awesome cars. My favorite among them was probably the 2000 blue mustang with a '70 somethin or another 351 Cleveland motor in it. Just thought it was sweet to take something old like that and stick it in a new car. People will never see it comin. Sleeper if I ever saw one, even if the outside was nice as all heck. Also liked the black ... somethin or other they had up there, supposedly pushing out 550 HP. Woo.

Me and Tom cruised up and down Woodward a couple times, revving at cars and chicks, and it was fun. I can't wait to go again next year. Maybe my car will actually be done and I can challenge a few people to a revving match myself. ^_^
