HP was my first fandom, about 5 years ago. i went for snarry or snupin, but i read anything and everything. those were creative days in that fandom. i also like jd/cox. do i qualify? oh, and i think john oliver's the cutest thing ever. :D

xD Aw, I don't actually think he's that old. Just, most of the people I'm friends with on IJ and here tend to have Daniel Radcliffe, David Tennet, or someone equally as young-ish. I just thought it was funny to have, "The Black", on mine. Tee Hee!
Seriously! Don't get me wrong, I still love Snarry( and snupin, and every other pairing ever), but eventually you've read everything in that fandom, and you have to move on.)

i agree about moving on. i've burned my way through numerous fandoms by reading everything i could find very fast. nowadays, if i read a HP story, it's likely to be post-DH harry/draco, because a friend of mine on LJ writes that pairing.

you can share the icon with me, if you'd like. no need to credit, btw, as i'm a total amateur. when i make icons, i don't know how to balance and brighten colors, so they tend to look washed out. the thewlis one turned out ok, though.
p.s. i remember that snarry picture! i was in the fandom back when LJ was banninating HP writers and artists and comms, and that was one of the artworks that came in for lots of flak.

When I was little kid, I asked my grandmother why her hair was grey, and she said, and I quote, "See honey, at a certain point in a woman's life she reaches the point where she doesn't have to take any more shit from anyone ever again. So god turns her hair grey so people know to stay the hell away."
So, yeah, I've always been excited to get grey hair. xD
Yeah, the only HP fics I read right now are finishing up some of the chapter fics I had already started reading before I quit and if someone I know posts something. I read a bit for the Snarry-A-Thon that happened a while back, but it was tedious.
*steals icon to use later* I hate having so little icon space! I miss IJ and it's 100 icon limit. I've been spoiled is what happened. But eh, I can't stay away from the Pundit Lovin!
With icons, it just takes screwing with them alot. There's a group, icon_tutorial, and it's really amazing. You just play around with the tutorials they have on there enough you eventually figure out how they'
