A Year of Dungeons & Dragons Online

Feb 21, 2007 23:34

So it’s a year later and I’m playing Dungeons & Dragons Online. I’ve logged over 882 hours of play time and I still love this game. I don’t feel like I’m grinding (working hard or spending too much time) for XP or levels or loot like in the other MMO’s I’ve tried in my 11 years of playing these kinds of games. I just play and have fun. I’ve made quite a few online friends both in the player community and with the developers of the game. We always get together laugh it up with jokes, get into a rousing debate on game mechanics and content, or just talk about our lives in general. People from other guilds on the server know who I am and actively seek me out to play in their groups. I talk with the devs and they invite me to try out new things before it goes live. They respect my opinion when I have something to say about the game. My online life is great. I could ask for nothing more.

Happy Anniversary DDO! Thanks for the fun times!
