M18/Intense Sequences& Some disturbing scenes
Three friends whose wish for one last run down the snowy slopes on a late Sunday night turns out to be a nightmare. The trio gets stranded on a chair lift up in the air, when the operator leaves for the night thinking there is no one left. They have to escape before they freeze to death, as the ski resort is closed for the whole week. There is some emphasis on the characters' pain when one of them falls from a height, breaking both legs. Several shots of man's broken bones jutting out awkwardly are seen.
The camera shots add to the sense of impending doom when we slowly see a woman prying her frozen hand off the safety pole, ripping her skin off. The tone of the film is realistic and tense, and plays on music to bring out the characters' sense of despair and pain, and there are sequences where one is dreading the horror from the moment the chair lift stops working.
The film also has several disturbing scenes which include a man with broken legs trying to reach out and tie a tourniquet, then surrounded and attacked by a pack of hungry wolves; and it is implied that another man is mauled to death by wolves, as we see his gruesome remains..
Not worth writing anything about it.
How good can a movie be when it starts and ends with a big, bolded "FROZEN"?

I'm in a good state of mind. I was invited to the Preview Screening.
P.S. I don't know what's wrong with LiveJournal.
I had actually written a number of lengthy reviews for this and was told that the post was too large. And I didn't have a back-up! Maybe it's time to look for a new place.
