#695 Changi General Hospital - Clinic S

A place where I will accompany my Mom to for annual eye check-ups.
This has been the case after my mom got "poke" in the eye by Fabian, who she was taking care of years ago.
It was only after that incident that we came to knew that Mom was actually in high risk of contracting Glaucoma. Heard of the term? I reckon so, if you have studied Biology or read some books or materials with regards to eye care.

They did some renovation work in the clinic. New Panasonic television sets hanging on the walls.
The picture below guides patients by showing them the procedures they will undergo.

Mom went for an eye check. Followed by that Specialised Investigation - Humphrey's Field Test.
The doctor said that the purpose of the test is to find out which part of the eyeball are not seeing things as supposed to. Confused. Are they trying to detect the blind spots or? Can someone explain it to me in great details?

It seems to be a nice game. One is to sit in front of the equipment, be an one-eyed captain and start to press the button on the nutchunk when he or she sees white light spots. Their eyes are to focus on the yellow light, shining from the centre and they are not allowed to let their eyes wander off to look for the white light spots.

Each round is 5 minutes. That is 5 minutes per eye and 10 minutes in total.

Then she consulted the doctor. It was another check using yet another equipment.

A long process of almost 2 hours. Bought puffs from the 7-11 convenience store. Pick the medicine up from the Pharmacy and it was home sweet home.

P.S. My LaspBus tutorial answers was placed on the visualizer this afternoon by Mr. Ang. Felt jubilant when the response was like, "Woah" "So nice" etc, in short, exclamations from my classmates. Thank you for praising of my handwriting!
