I sent an e-mail to them on the last day of April because I wanted tickets to the recording of Don't Forget the Lyrics (Chinese). They replied yesterday.
This morning, while I was doing my Partnership and Company Accounts Tutorial 3 in the kitchen, I listened to Love 972, as per normal. It has become my daily routine as my mom can't live without the radio and of course, Love 972.
Then DJ 碧玉 said that they will be playing a recording (I reckon it's pre-recorded, 越洋专访) of the interview that she has done with Jerry Yan. After the recording, they will be playing the theme song of Down with Love.

After the recording is played, she said that there will be a contest later for fans to win Jerry's 9413: 男人及男孩 写真集. I was trying my luck as I couldn't compose a sms at lightning speed.
The 2 questions that they asked were
"Which drama, starring Jerry Yan, is now shown on TV, every Saturday at 9pm?" and
"What is the meaning of 9413?"
Man, I knew the answers and there I was, busy typing out the answers in Chinese and my particulars in English. At that point of time, they only asked for the name and address.
The answers to the questions were "就想赖着你 Down with Love" and "台北到南澳阿德莱德的距离 (distance between Taipei and Adelaide, Northern Australia)“.
They provided 3 options for Question 2 and I could have just type in "1" in the sms but I went ahead with typing in the chinese characters. Luck was really on my side.
After the song ended, she announced the results. I forgot how many winners are there in total (my name was the second to be called) as I went berserk after hearing my name and the last 4 numbers of my mobile phone number. I screamed, ran around the house.
All these shocked my mom, who was cleaning her dentures. Haha.
Can't believe that I was one of the fastest!

Maybe it's due to the fact that the majority of the listeners are aged and are unable to type that fast or does not know how to make use of the sms function. Or perhaps the younger ones are at work or school.
Not forgetting Lady Luck and all others who make it possible for me to win. Temasek Polytechnic for having Campus Care Network and their 20th anniversary celebration today.

It was 2pm when I received DJ 碧玉's call. She asked if I was so and so. Then, she asked for my NRIC number as I didn't include it in the sms. She wowed when I told her the first four digits. I'm only 18. The age when girls are supposed to go gaga-ing over handsome guys, especially male idols. I faked as Jerry's fan but can't denied that he's really charming.
Prize collection @ MediaCorp's Reception starting next Tuesday to Friday, from 10 am to 12 nn or 2 pm to 5 pm. Have to bring along I/C as a form of identification.
A few minutes after, her manager (also a DJ), 国贤 called to ask if 碧玉 has asked for my NRIC no. I said the first 4 digits then he completed it for me. It's obvious that he's got it. Anyway, I am ecstatic! He's one of my favorite DJs!
2 calls from 2 DJs today. Wow! What an experience.
