Well, the exams are done. The last ones of this batch were on Wed and Thurs of last week, and I've passed Paediatrics, but not Obs & Gynae. Still, I think it won't be a problem getting through them in April.
Since then, anyway, life's been a bit of a blur. Thursday night was a few drinks with my classmates, something that hasn't happened in quite a while. Before drinks, JK and Vik and I headed out to Ely at CHQ, which is essentially Ely the Wine Bar but with more (and better) food.
Friday wasn't much to shout about, but on Saturday we headed out to the Kildare Village, which is a factory outlet kinda place. The food was decent there, but the outlet centre itself needs time to mature. Was a nice drive, though.
Yesterday was Yum Cha with 2 other friends, who gave me a treat, and then onto shopping for a digital camera with a classmate, and then to see Borat. Which, whilst funny in parts, was a bit too contraversial for the sake of being contraversial, and which seemed too staged for me to take seriously the claims that a lot of it is a reflection of American society. Was worth the watch, mind you, but I'd hesitate to recommend it to friends as a must-see.
And that brings me to today, which was an early start to send JK & JB to the airport - it was incredibly nice driving at 6am, with hardly any traffic heading out to the airport. Coming back in at a 6.45, though was a different story, and the 15 minutes it took to move 200m was ridiculous! Other than that, it's been a lazy-ish day, I'd wanted to go for a run, but every time I got ready to head out, the sun had disappeared and it had started raining again. Hopefully tomorrow's better!
