muuOUUGH!
I know I don't update very often. But, unless I'm a superhero who dons brightly-colored spandex outfits and fights crime, I don't have a very exciting life.
Work was good. My supervisor person (for future reference, it's easier to say supe than "assistant chief engineer") told me to take it easy today. So I didn't do any real work until 10, and even then, it was simple stuff. I got paid, too, and along with my paycheck was a gift card for $20 at Jewel-Osco (a supermarket chain here in Chicago, for those not in on Chicago life). So I got some Guinness, a couple of steaks, citrus punch, and some big, soft cookies.
I'm debating whether or not I should register this credit card. I actually have it, and it's pretty much on standby. I basically just have to call this number and activate it. It'll be good to build up a credit history, but I'm not sure how stable my job is, even though I'll most likely be there up 'til Christmas (maybe even later).
Oh yeah, I upgraded my computer earlier in the week with more RAM. I now have 768 megs of DDR RAM. Go me.
