NYC's Alice in Wonderland Meet Up --- Sunday, March 14th 2010 ---UPDATE #1

Here's an update for NYC's Alice in Wonderland Meet Up

First, the date of the meet up has been changed to Sunday, March 14th. It seemed like a more opened date for people to come, and just seemed better in my opinion. Here's a list of important things that need to get done for the meet up to go without hitches:

  1. In order to get into the Tim Burton exhibit, we need to buy tickets with a specific time. I'm going to make the deadline for buying the tickets Sunday March 7th. When you are buying the tickets, go to the drop down menu next to the info about Tim Burton and select the time for the 12:00 PM. In terms of money -- If you are 16 or under you get in for free, if your a normal non-member adult $20, and if you are a full time student with ID $12. Tim Burton is a free of extra charge event to your ticket, so don't worry about paying extra.  I can't urge this enough how everyone that wishes to go to the exhibit needs to buy their tickets before the event, and if you don't you risk the chance of not getting into the special exhibit, and you getting into the exhibit is your own responsibility, not mine.
  2. We will be eating at Burger Heaven again, since it seemed to be a great place last time and it's cheap (Disco Fries -- yes)
  3. Looking ahead of things -- it seems there will be a 4PM showing of Alice in 3D on Sunday. This is the showing we are gonna be aiming for -- When the times for its normal showing come up, I'll post them on the next update for those that'd rather see it in 2D.
Otherwise here are some other things to know:

- There is a new rule for brining guests, in addition to letting me know about any and all guest your bringing, you have to give me information etc. Example: Boyfriend, friend etc. If they have a screen name of any sort on LJ, they have to be given. I also would like if anyone that i haven't met prior/isn't a regular gives me their cell phone number, since the last two meets some people got lost and weren't able to get in contact with me. I want everyone to have fun, and with that comes some extremes unfortunately.

- In terms of cost:
Museum: $12 - $20 (depending on your situation)
Movie $16.50 (cause of 3D Imax)
Food $10 - $15

- In terms of clothes, I'd recommend wearing something more for comfort then style, because of walking around the museum. You don't want any sort of crazy headwear getting knocked into Edward Scissorhands costume (or etc... you get the point). Also opt for comfortable shoes, cause since everything is in a 10 block radius, we are gonna be walking a bit. Lastly, remember to wear things that are comfortable for walking outside in March, since it'll probably stilly be cold etc.

If anyone has any questions etc. just comment or email me at duckie_luvs_azariaATyahooDOTcom.

RSVP ENDS AT MARCH 7TH.
