I got a few more seeds started. Even though it's probably far too late for them, bunching onions and celery were among the new starts. We shall see. More to start, but, first, ...
My very first sprout of the year. And, wouldn't you know, it's one of those poor dear lupines that I sliced and diced and refrigerated.
Probably my favorite piece from Sis.
And I do believe I have finally figured out how to (at least decently) poach eggs. (Before they were just stringy messes of a mess.) I'd prefer that they be atop an English muffin and drowned in hollandaise sauce, but (1) I'm trying to cut out (which is only cutting down at this point) wheat and (2) I'm too lazy to go to the trouble of making hollandaise for only myself. So the beautiful eggs simply sit atop warmed Canadian bacon and melted Swiss cheese and are drowned in lemon juice (with a sprinkling of pepper and hot pepper flakes).
