Lotion-making continued and (*sniffle*) birds
I am infusing vanilla beans in the lotion-making water. I hope this lotion turns out half as divine as I think it will. (Which will, truthfully, mean it's a flop.) I really shouldn't have messed with the oil amounts. I'll make a small batch and see.
I love my birds. If you've been reading for any length of time, you know I love them. I love my birds about 1/1000th of the amount I love my daughter and grandgoobers, but if you know how much I love Jessica and the grandgoobers, you'll know that puts my love of these birds way over the top.
I cannot afford to feed them, though. It's insane for me to run completely out of money a week before month's end because I have to feed the birds. And, worse, it's not just the birds I'm feeding, it's the rambo-style, I could not care less what you think you'll do to me, squirrels. They plow through seed at an exponential rate that the birds do, and, I'm telling you, the birds already plow through five full feeders on their own in less than two days. I just can't do it. And it makes me very sad.
