Gah!
Mr. Neighbor is not dealing well at all with his brother's death. (Who would?) But I feel the burden is being put on me to figure out funeral arrangements for a man I do not know and who had no money. I am totally freaking out, and yet I'm more capable at dealing with this than Mr. Neighbor. I do not see how. But Mr. Neighbor has totally shut down and speaks only nonsense babble. I am talking on the phone with this agency and that, just trying to get the man buried or cremated. (It really irks me that Mr. Neighbor doesn't know whether his brother would prefer a burial or cremation. Please, people, make sure someone knows your preference.) Pray for me, people. Pray hard. This is not easy for Mr. Neighbor, but I swear it's more not easy for me.
