Yes! Can I invite transversely?

Let's do it before it gets too cold.

But, of course, transversely is invited! I wasn't sure he'd be into such a thing, and, even if he isn't, he's invited! I was just a bit shy about inviting him. Next Saturday or Sunday or the following Saturday or Sunday? Let's get this baby decked out to be the car she is meant to be!

This Saturday I'm going to the Fungus Fair, but I think I'm free on Sunday afternoon. Next weekend I appear to be free all day Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

Actually, the 4th or 5th would be better for me, as I'll have a few dollars in my pocket. Not that I need a few dollars (I've got all sorts of house paint colors - heh), but just in case. I've been told I really should put primer at least on the rust spots, and I'll need to get that. If you can do it during a weekday, that's fine, too. Or an evening. Or a bit here, a bit there. She and I are ready when you are.

Oh, the 4th and 5th will be hard (actually, probably impossible) for us because transversely's play is in town that weekend, so we'll be crazy-busy with that. After that I've got weddings for the next two weekends.

I might be able to do a weekday, if that works best for everyone else. (Just not Oct 1-3, since that's when play stuff is happening.) I'd just need to know a week or so in advance so I can ask for it off.

I really don't think there's going to be any "anyone else's". Do you and transversely mind being stuck just with me? (And perhaps Mr. Neighbor and his dog? Mr. Neighbor will undoubtedly be lecturing us on the whole process and what nonsense it is and blah, blah, blah.) (If you know of ANYONE else who'd like to join in, please, please, please invite them!) If you're a spur-of-the-moment sort, we can just work on it whenever you two have a bit of time to work on it. You know, do it in bits and pieces. Do you think that by the 11th or 12th, it'll be too cold? Maybe we could start this Sunday, and just work around the areas that area rusted and would need to be primed (I don't have enough $ for primer right now.) I'll need to get it washed and roughed up with the sander a bit more ( ... )

I don't mind being stuck with just you! Although Mr. Neighbor and I might fight, given his propensity for abusing you. Would it be bad if I called him on his shit? I don't know if I can stand by quietly if he starts being mean to you.

This weekend is filling up fast - we've got some prep to do for the play next weekend - so I'm not sure if we'll have time to paint.

I could do some after work on October 9th and/or 10th, and then we could work on it that Saturday or Sunday too. What do you think? Hopefully it won't be too cold yet.
