Trouble on the homefront

Crimeny. Don't these people know that I have problems of my own to deal with? Apparently not.

After informing the Corner Store Man that he needed to lighten up, I came home to ... big surprise ... the fire trucks outside my door. Seems Mr. Cross-Dressing Neighbor was trying to smoke (something) while sleeping. Fire trucks here and there and everywhere. Fires were put out. (Pillows and blankets and sheets and who-knows-what-else were being whipped upon the ground.)

If that weren't enough, the woman above me has decided to, yet again, sing and bawl at the top of her lungs. Was it the fire (or potential fire) that set her off? (Whatever happened to good sedating medication?)

I feel so normal among these people. Unfortunately, a feeling of normalcy gets you nowhere.
